Have you ever heard of Tillandsias? They're habit-forming, so beware! They are members of the Bromeliad family but grow without soil, which is why some people call them air plants. See the next picture of a topiary tree that died over the winter, so now I use it to display the Tillandsias. Purchase a couple and you will fall in love with them. I spray them with a garden hose a couple of times a week in the summer, or let Mother Nature rain on them. In the winter, they live on a shelf by a bright window. I fill up the sink with water and toss them in once a week, and that's it. EASY plants that make babies, too, after they bloom.
